The signature birds of Füreya Koral, the first female ceramic artist in the history of the Turkish Republic, now meet the enchanting world of Ninon, inspired by Füreya’s belief that “art must be a part of life.”

As one of the pioneers of Turkish ceramic art, Füreya Koral saw the material as a living entity—focusing on exploring the texture, color, and shaping potential of clay. Inspired by traditional İznik tiles and Anatolia’s rich earthen heritage, she infused her forms with a sense of dynamic flow. Her original patterns, which brought together geometric and abstract motifs, honored both modernism and local aesthetics. Through her masterful glazing techniques on meticulously shaped ceramic surfaces, she created striking plays of light and shadow, giving her works a timeless aura that imbued spaces with soul.
